Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Reflect.

Reflect is a service of The Simple Warrior LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, operating under the registered trade name “Reflect.”

In plain language

  • Reflect is a $7/month subscription with a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime.
  • Your reflections are yours. We store and process them so the app works.
  • Reflect is not therapy, medical, legal, or financial advice.
  • Don't abuse the service, and we won't terminate your account.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Reflect, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.

2. Description of service

Reflect is a daily AI-guided reflection journal. Each day, the service generates a scripture passage, a short reflection, a question, and a prayer prompt based on context you provide (season of life, gratitudes, prayer requests, prior responses). Reflect is rooted in a Christian framing by default, but tradition and tone are configurable in your profile.

The faith framing is voluntary. Reflect is not religious counseling and is not a substitute for pastoral care, a spiritual director, or a faith community.

3. User accounts

You need an account to use Reflect. You agree to provide accurate information at signup and to keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, please use Reflect with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Subscription & billing

Pricing. Reflect is $7 per month, billed monthly in U.S. dollars after a 7-day free trial. Your card is not charged during the trial.

Auto-renewal. The subscription auto-renews each month until you cancel. You authorize Reflect (via Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from /billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Refunds. We don't prorate or refund partial months. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll review case-by-case.

Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe. Reflect never stores full card numbers. See our Privacy Policy for the full subprocessor list.

Price changes. If we change pricing, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to your account. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Reflect to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or threatening to others.
  • Send spam, run automated scraping, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or its infrastructure without permission.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the service.
  • Submit content you don't have the right to share.

6. Your content

You own what you write. Your journal entries, prayers, gratitude notes, and reflection responses remain yours. By using Reflect, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content onlyas needed to operate the service for you — generating tomorrow's reflection, displaying your history, sending the AI the context it needs.

We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell or share it. You can export everything you've written from the Privacy page, and you can delete your account (and your content) there as well.

7. Intellectual property

The Reflect name, logo, software, design, and underlying systems are owned by The Simple Warrior LLC (a Colorado limited liability company doing business as Reflect under a trade name registered with the Colorado Secretary of State) and protected by copyright and trademark law. Generated reflections (scripture selections, prayers, prompts, questions) are produced for your personal use; you can save them, quote them, and share them in ordinary personal contexts. You can't redistribute Reflect's output as a commercial product or service.

8. Termination

You can leave anytime. Cancel your subscription at /billing or delete your account from the Privacy page.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (especially the acceptable-use section above) or that pose a security risk to the service or other users. Where practical, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the issue first.

9. Disclaimers

Not professional advice. AI-generated reflections, prayers, and questions are not professional advice. Reflect does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial adviceand is not a substitute for a licensed therapist, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. If you're in crisis, contact a qualified professional or, in the U.S., dial or text 988.

AI imperfection. The AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misattributed content (including scripture references and quotations). Verify anything important before relying on it.

Service availability. Reflect is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always accessible. We'll do our best to keep it running, but downtime happens.
